Portable Appliance Testing.

Under the Electricity at Work Act 1989, employers are legally obliged to ensure that any portable equipment used at work is properly maintained.  Portable electrical equipment is any equipment that has a lead and a plug and can be easily moved around the workplace, including power tools, kettles, fans, photocopiers and personal computers.

We offer the facility to site test using the latest Portable Appliance Test equipment, each appliance is assigned a unique reference number and  this is stored in the testers memory until the test is completed. The results are then downloaded to a computer and the results printed out.
