Description:

The project consisted of the fabrication of eight multi-point dosing stations for the application of Ferric Chloride.

These were used to dose chemical proportional to effluent-flow in a Municipal Effluent Treatment Facility.

The chemical being dosed is extremely aggressive and all of the construction materials were specifically designed to withstand these severe service conditions.

The whole system was built inclusive of all documentation, IOM Manuals and as built drawings within the confines of an extremely tight time schedule and to budget.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The project involved the following disciplines:-

  • Instrumentation.
  • Pipework.
  • PLC programming.
The equipment consisted of:-
  • GRP kiosk.
  • Motor driven diaphragm pumps.
  • UPVC pipework.
  • Plastic coated brackets and supports.
  • Plastic duplex filtration.
  • Electrical control panels.
  • Cabling and tray.
  • Flowmeters and flowswitches.
