Kalic dosing system

Working alongside United Utilities, we have developed and implemented a number of self-contained Kalic dosing systems. Due to the low freezing point of chemicals and the volume of settling suspended solids, our bespoke designs can include automatic tank heating and recirculation. Our entire systems are mounted into a mobile bund for transportation from site to site as required and have become a United Utilities signature design for this type of application.

Dissolved oxygen in Sewage Treatment Works

One of the main considerations in aeration tanks at effluent treatment plants is ensuring an adequate supply of oxygen is infused into the effluent for optimum bacteriological activity. This is achieved via aerator motors and controlling how long they need to run by monitoring the dissolved oxygen levels and turning the motors on and off. Greater efficiency is achieved and expenditure is normally recovered in a short time period.

Tanker reception facility

Our expertise includes the complete upgrade of a wastewater treatment works tanker reception facility, including the complete re-design of hazardous waste management storage and discharge pipework, additional tanks and new PLC. The entire system is designed to automatically receive and direct waste to the correct storage tanks for processing via a series of flow meters and automatic valves. Computer-based logging at the receiving end of the system monitors the exact amount of water discharged from each tanker and prevents discharge at the incorrect connection point.

Odour control

Our systems are specifically developed to neutralise odours that may occur at sewage treatment plants and can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
