Description:

The roughing or high rate filters are positioned in the Primary Treatment stage of waste water treatment. Effluent from the Preliminary treatment stage is pumped into a distribution tank situated above the roughing filter. The liquor, at an average rate of 3150 cubic metres / day, is then spread evenly over the filter area  by way of the UPVC distribution manifold  thus producing efficient filter performance.

  • Maintenance is made easy by the installation of isolation valves and numerous rodding points.

  • Even distribution of liquor over the filter area resulting in maximum performance of the filter area.
